Reliability Enhancement of Fast Charging Station under Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment Failures and Repairs

This work focuses on the enhancement of charging reliability both scheduled (SEVs) and opportunistic (UEVs) electric vehicle (EV) users in an EV fast station (FCS). The proposed coordination strategies allow UEVs to exploit unused resources optimally utilize limited FCS. However, optimum utilization FCS while assuring a reliable process for plugged-in EVs under random failures supply equipment (EVSE) is real challenge controller. When admits addition SEVs, satisfactory quality service user categories also dispensable. Therefore, we analyze performance reservation off-board mobile chargers (MOBCs) enhance achieving high resource utilization. proposes allocation where MOBCs are used SEVs UEVs. Moreover, dynamic analyzed with continuous time Markov-chain (CTMC). presented results from CTMC model demonstrate that outperform terms guaranteeing users.
